Manzar Studios is an entertainment company, based out of Mumbai, with a focus on acquiring foreign high-concept IP for adaptation and transcreation in India, along with developing and producing original content. The company also curates and distributes compelling foreign IP for India and the subcontinent.
At Manzar, we intend to create, trans-create and adapt contemporary stories as feature films, series/shows, animated content, etc. keeping in mind the social and cultural fabric of our country.
Manzar Studios is a joint venture between Sunil Doshi, a creative entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Alliance Media, and Rainshine Entertainment which creates, nurtures and develops content studios for Indian and global audiences, and has its offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Los Angeles and London. Mr Neeraj Bhargava is the Chairman/CEO at Rainshine Entertainment.
Our endeavour at Manzar is to bring memorable films and shows for kids, teens, young adults and families.

Sunil Doshi has worn many hats in his two-decade-long film career and has become a mainstay of the Indian film industry. In his scope as a consultant for the Star TV Network, Sunil has been the backbone of many significant TV ventures, including those that went on to create entertainment history…
Sunil Doshi has worn many hats in his two-decade-long film career and has become a mainstay of the Indian film industry. In his scope as a consultant for the Star TV Network, Sunil has been the backbone of many significant TV ventures, including those that went on to create entertainment history, such as Satyamev Jayate (2012), Koffee with Karan (2004), and Kaun Banega Crorepati (2000).
He has also spearheaded many critically acclaimed feature films as a creative producer. These include feature films like Bioscopewala (2018), 10 ml LOVE (2010), Daayen Ya Baayen (2010), The Waiting Room (2010), Aamras (2009), Hulla (2008), Bheja Fry (2007), Mixed Doubles (2006), Theeviravaathi: The Terrorist (1998), and more. He was also the co-producer of Chauthi Koot aka The Fourth Direction (2015), a film by Gurvindar Singh, that was selected for screening in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
He runs one of India’s most trusted talent management agencies, Alliance Media & Entertainment. As its CEO, he has collaborated with and supported some of the top actors of the industry, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rani Mukerjee, and Tabu.
Over the last decade and a half, Sunil has branched out into curating and creating content, with new writers and directorial talent for all visual media. He has founded production companies – The Adaptation Company and Very Vichitra – to function as vehicles to launch exciting independent projects.
In December 2019, he joined hands with journalists Sidin Vadukut and Supriya Nair, writer Deviah Bopanna, and Gaurav Vaz to set up All Things Small, a platform to tell true stories with deep-dive research on non-fiction narratives through multimedia optics.
Sunil also co-founded Alliance Lumiere – a World Cinema TV Channel – earlier known as NDTV Lumiere and later renamed to Lumiere Movies under Turner Broadcasting, in collaboration with Prannoy Roy (of NDTV) and Manmohan Shetty (of AdLabs Films, now renamed to Reliance MediaWorks).
In recent years, Sunil has embraced the role of a speaker and guest faculty at cultural and corporate events, institutions, and colleges, sharing his extensive knowledge of the media and entertainment industry. He has been invited to serve on the jury and speak at various prestigious film festivals, including Locarno Film Festival, Annecy International Animated Film Festival, Isfahan International Children Film Festival (Tehran), Laon International Film Festival for Young People, International Film Festival of Kerala (Trivandrum), and many more.

Neeraj Bhargava has had a successful career as an entrepreneur, investor, and consultant, during which he built and invested in three Unicorns – MakeMyTrip, WNS, and Big Basket. He currently leads and manages Rainshine Entertainment and Zodius Capital Advisors simultaneously.
As the founder, chairman, and CEO of Rainshine Entertainment, he operates a global entertainment company that owns and partners with studios in the US, the UK, and India, that create a variety of content including films, TV/web shows, documentaries, podcasts, video games and branded content.
His portfolio as the founder and managing partner of Zodius Capital Advisors included leading successful investments in Antuit, Big Basket (mostly sold to Alibaba and other investors), BORN Group (sold to Tech Mahindra), CyFirma, MarketsandMarkets, MedGenome, OfBusiness, OML (sold to The Chernin Group), and Zivame. He has been an active board member in all these companies.
In his previous role as Group CEO and co-founder of WNS Global Services, a leading NYSE– listed outsourcing company, he grew the company to a 22,000-person operation in 11 countries with a $1.5 billion market capitalisation. Prior to that, he was the co-founder and the managing partner of eVentures India, where he led extraordinarily successful investments in MakeMyTrip and NetMagic. He was also a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led client relationships in the technology and media sectors. As an angel investor, he has also invested in recently listed fuboTV.
Neeraj is an alumnus of Stern School of Business, New York University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from St Stephens College, Delhi University.
